Thanks for the cheerful responses! This is my second lap on the divorce circuit, so do not feel too sorry for me (thanks to match.com!!!).
Anyway, my second ex limited my access to retrieving my bike parts - had to take most expensive tools and parts first whenever I was allowed. In my haste, I forgot to pick up the small box that had my factory ordered plastic pillion cover in go fast orange! Ordered it last year, same dealer says NA now! Think it was $300 + ?. To spite me she probably jumped on it and threw it in garbage!

I found couple rear seats on evil bay, but still looking for plastic rear seat pillion cover in any color!

Did you try Corbin? I think they do, or did, used to make them.

Thanks again for the advice and Corbin info. I have non-riding friends that lived in Hollister CA, so I have driven by the Corbin plant! Will contact them to order and report back.

BTW, my new girlfriend IS younger, much more "active", and loves riding on back of my Electra Glide CVO (orange and black). There are some good ones out there!

Called Corbin yesterday and ordered new rear pillion seat cover in go fast mirage orange!!!
Questioned if they make part OR buy from harley - stated they make it themselves!
Strange since it is similar price around $229. Think they have all four colors available.

I was also able to mail order black HD pillion other day from Lakeshore HD in Illinois. They stated orange is NA, and black is low stock quantity and possibly NA. So, will not know until they do or do not get it.

New hottie girlfriend is awesome. Saw Avett Brothers concert last night in Canandaigua NY. Had first row tickets - killer show.

Wil report back if these both show up!

I believe either H-D gets them from Corbin, or both Corbin and H-D get them from the same source. Either way, it is the same piece.

My world is at peace = new go fast mirage orange Corbin pillion seat cover just came today!!! Arrived when I was changing oil on Electra Glide! Large over size box with sheets of heavy duty bubble wrap. Pillion piece was wrapped in soft towel with masking tape. First class shipping. Color match looks great!

This seat usually takes some adjustment for that front mounting post, so don't get discouraged. If you have a problem, just post on here and I think we can get you pointed in the right direction. Used flat washers to adjust mine.

Seen this thread and thought the rear cowl cover would look great. The last post was August 2015, so here's info for 2016: I ordered on line from Corbin April 7, said they would contact and confirm within two days--they did not. I called them and was told yes, your order is here, will take 4 weeks to complete. Nothing on their site said how long, a month is ok I guess as the weather here in Michigan is not quite right yet. Waited a month and two days---Where's my seat cover? Today Corbin says they made three and are to be painted this week, couple days to cure, then ship.

So, be patient if you order from Corbin. They say they make the cowl covers at their California factory, maybe they wait until several orders come in. Their advert should warn us of the time schedule. Will let you know how it looks, fits, and if it does come when they say.

I have never sat on a Corbin seat that was comfortable. Including the $800 seat I bought for my Kawasaki. But the quality is outstanding. Hopefully the cover will be top notch.

 

Hopefully one of the three is mine. I ordered 5 weeks ago tomorrow. At that time Corbin said it would be 6 weeks to bang one out. HD Canada I was told 5 weeks ago could no longer get them from HD as they are supposedly discontinued.
