Vehicle description is one of the better short summaries I've read of the model's origin & history. Maybe they like them because someone there has ridden one & picked up on the XR vibe. Iconic don't seem to realise their example has x shocks so it's not truly 100% original, but who cares. 16,000 miles is not a lot. Anyhow, good luck to them with the sale.

A belly pan would make it look nice. Just ask those that have them. :p

It had the belly pan fitted when it first appeared at Iconic in January, Its had a couple of owners and quite a bit of work done since then so it could be anywhere, I agree the XR looks better with one fitted :cool:

Well it HAD one, the front pins are still there. Didn't we determine this was Jim's (I believe that was his name) old bike?
Good catch on seeing the pinns. Yes, it was Jim's and yes, it did have a belly pan the first time I saw it. Had to go through the pictures, because I didn't remember seeing the pan.
