Slid the front turn signals up the forks. Looks better than at the lower of the triples.

I agree, but haven’t looked into a black mount. That looks much better, if it were mine I would black out that steering damper mount to balance the look![]()

Got the ride back from Corsa Motoworks, Clearwater, FL (https://www.corsamotoworks.com) in September. They were referred to me by Fast Bike Industries. These are the first pic's I have posted since getting the bike in Aug 2022.
Corsa Work:
Andreani - front end inserts with RaceTech seals (https://fastbikeindustries.com/) Ditched the rusted dustcover cap (Geno Mode)
Nitron NTR3 3 way adjustable suspension-Rear - custom order to any size (I went 16") (https://fastbikeindustries.com/)
Break Tech Rotors - semi floating 320mm (Front Brake Rotors Part Number BT-HD32B.KS)
Vesrha Sport HH+ Kurvey Girl (Product Result)
Dunlop - Sport Max Road Master IV - front and rear
Galfer steel braided break lines
I cannot write enough about how great is was to work with Corsa Motorworks. Mike took the time to re-research and verify everything we did to the bike and left nothing to chance at my suggestions and at my cost. Laid Back Very Cool and professional. When picking the bike up his Tech spent an hour with me making adjustments and fitting the bike to my size and my riding style. I look forward to going back to Clearwater for their
"Track Days" ( https://www.corsamotoworks.com/eventslist).
Also, cannot thank those of YOU enough who have helped me figure out this build and advised.
Respectfully -Rich Barker - Jacksonville (P.S. - This project is out of Money and need to ride the wheel off it now)

I agree. That does look better. Good job!Slid the front turn signals up the forks. Looks better than at the lower of the triples.
Thank You - Yes - I hate to write it - Jacksonville does real well with the storms (been here 20 years). With that written well get leveled next year.Well Done barker!
that’s one good looking XR1200, love the license plate!
glad you had good results from Corsa, I was down there last month for the Hurricane Ian, it wasn’t fun, hope you guys made it through OK.

Roy
Thank You ! Rattling - oh no (I am sure theres a fix lol/uggg)- but those stock 10 year old guts were SHOT. What Calendar and how to I get the information on the East Coast Ride ?Nice looking bike. I have the same front rotors, love'um, they work great but don't be surprised if they start rattling later on. Be sure to check your calendar for May of 2023 for the East Coast Ride.
Thank YOU - Hours and hours and hours on this site (thank you everyone). I went after what I thought was the biggest shortcomings of the bike and tried to get the best upgrades I could, without having to do major fabrications. I tried to detail it for the next folks.Love your/their work!

I am lost lol.. My front turn signals are on the bars. I skinned the reflectors off the forks with the fishing line trick I found on this site (Magic) Picture for me maybe ?I agree. That does look better. Good job!

I contacted "Brake Tech" about the rattling rotors and he sent me some wavy/spring washers to fix the rattling rotors. They worked for a while, but went back to rattling. It's not a big deal to me (and may not be for you) because the brakes work so well. Just wanted to let you know.Thank You ! Sorry, I meant for you to put a check on your calendar. Do a search for East Coast ride/meetup. There is a East Coast ride and a West Coast ride, hopefully, every year. East, we meet in Waynesville, NC the week before Memorial day. Ride for about 4 days on some of the best roads in the area. So much fun.
