As my search for information progresses here, and as I am getting closer to being able to buy an XR1200, I see a lot of them listed for sale with different exhausts. Getting a sense that the Vance & Hines is very rare, I am seeing many other systems. Bassani is one and there are a lot of others. Is the Vance Hine& s really that good, or is it more of an iconic system that will get looks when the bike is parked somewhere? I have read that stock is way heavier than aftermarket, and changing it should have a tune along with changing the stock filter as well.
