Here are a few of our XR1200 in action. As you can probably tell by the attire, Andy is more used to forward controls and apehangers, but acquitted himself very well (and importantly didn't drop it!). Exhaust sounds glorious, although was completely drowned out by the classic racers on show and taking part in the sprint.
I know the feeling. I was competing in the London City Airport sprint a few years back on a nitroused Busa, and was drowned out noise-wise by a bloody Honda 50 with a megaphone...........
The great thing about having a bike in the competition was access to the infield, which was completely unrestricted, making for some great photo opportunities. A fraction after I took this, Phil's knee hit the straw bale I was sitting on! I thought he had taken my lens with him!
More global warming. This guy (Adam Child from Motocycle News) did an entire lap with the rear wheel doing this!
I know they are meant to be ridden but if I owned that old Velocette I believe it'd be under glass somewhere....it's paid it's dues and deserves a rest....too beautiful to get bent....:nono:
And this guy was shooting the DVD for the event, he seemed to like the Supertrapps, ha also said he could tell it was quick because of the stunning ORANGE colour
I have eventually managed to get the rest of the photographs uploaded onto my Flickr site from the weekend. You can see the rest of them here (although there are still more to do these are the best ones).
On the exhaust front.....We should have a price sorted out by next week and they will be on the web site as soon as we have it finalised. We have just finished writing mounting instructions etc so it won't be long
