Schweet! Very nize Frank.
Looks nice. Somehow I don't think that seat is quite as comfortable as the stock seat. What size are the handlebars at the controls, and at the clamps?
The seat is from the BBQ series which I purchased from Portugal. The bars are carbon with YZ 450 throttle, Brembo Master, GSXR 1000 clutch lever, special made clutch cable, and Aprilia SXV switches.
Geno, your cover shipped today, I think you will be very happy.
Looks nice. Hope its ready for spring. Maybe we could have a XR meet near Philly and go for some cheese steaks on South St..
Nice work Frank! Similar to what I'm gonna be doin' with the handlebar setup. Do the SXV switches have a left side turn signal switch?
What are turn signals? I am in the process of designing and building an air box that actuall breaths unlike the POS from HD. I will be dyno testing in the next few weeks. There will be copies for sale when completed. a single cylinder motocross bike has a bigger filter than an XR.
Looks lighter than the original, too.

...and not just because pieces are missing!
I love those forks - look forward to seeing the finished pics.
I just finished my special design airbox, and did some dyno runs. On a stock XR1200 we picked up 8 horsepower on a stock bike with stock super restricted exhaust and stock ECM. Next week I will test it with a full exhaust and Screaming Eagle Super Tuner which is the best ECM for these motorcycles. When testing is completed these boxs will be available for sale.

Now you have my Full attention. Waiting for more info and pictures.................................
Wow, 8 hp without changing fuel, on. A bone stock bike, with no tune, I would love to test that invention myself in my dynoroom, I buy one and will share my experiences here with dyno data, brilliant if that works.. I love people who make payable solutions that works and can show the dyno data, to proof it
Just registering my interest. Love the way the bike's shaping up.
It will be very interesting when completed.
The seat is from the BBQ series which I purchased from Portugal. .
Do you have some contact details and price for the seat. That is how the XR tail section should look!!

Looking forward to your airbox too!
The seat and tail are sold, Sorry
The seat and tail are sold, Sorry
I was hoping to get a price and contact details so I can buy the same seat you bought from Portugal.....not your standard old XR seat.
When do we get details on the air box? There doesn't appear to be a single pictures of it out here. Is it supposed to be a big secret, or is the digital camera's memory full?
