I recently performed a spectacularly bonehead move in which I accidentally let the power cord on my laptop fall onto my exhaust during an Idle Air Calibration session.

The result was a blown laptop (actually just a cheapo netbook), a blown USB to Serial Interface cable, and a blown Thundermax ECU (at least the serial interface portion of it).

I sent the ECU back to Zippers and they were able to fix it and return it back to me within a week and it only cost me shipping. I got it re-installed last night and everything is back to normal!

That's great customer service, especially considering I've had the ECU for 2 years and it was my own fault.

Thanks again.

Good stuff.

My mapping experiences with them have always been positive. Fast replies and on top of their game.
