Huh! I didn’t think this was a thing either. But it is a GM/Delphi ECM ;)

(I used to own a GM v8 and bought software to tune it; the ECM’s and tables are surprisingly alike - like, 90% alike.)

I have an OBD 2 i use on my BMW motorcycle with a BMW adapter but it has to have special Motoscan software to work. The software costs about $50 and covers diagnostics and some basic reset functions. If anyone here has ever worked on a BMW you are just helpless without some kind of way to diagnose problems. Later model BMW's have a canbus system. I saw some HD software that would work with OBD 2 but for $200 plus the cost of the OBD 2. Considering that it's basically just diagnostic software it seems to me to be way overpriced. Might as well buy a TTS.
