Greetings,

My name is Zak from Malaysia and
currently residing in Abu Dhabi. Finally got my orange 2009 with 5k km mileage. Learn a lot from this forum, thanks guys and gals.
Nice bike!
You might want to give your exhaust headers a respray with some high temperature paint. Don’t forget to spray the high temperature primer first. This forum can supply you with all sorts of information and buy or sell parts. All said, a great bunch of people here. Enjoy 😊 and welcome to the group.

Welcome Zak, from a cold Connecticut, USA where it’s just 28*F.
Anything you need, or want to know about your XR1200, you can find here…all you have to do is ask.
Nice find on just a low mileage example, as others have stated, keep an eye on that Vance and Hines exhaust system, they do have a propensity to rust, but they sound great.
Regards
Roy

Cheers Roy,
So I gotta ask…what is that thing you’re holding in your avatar picture?
Some kind of 🥟 dumpling maybe?
Regards
Roy
It’s king of fruit aka durian. For those never eat it, it’s smell like socks 😂
