La Réunion Island - Indian Ocean

Spectacular!

Reunion Island is a beautiful place. It has it all. Beaches, mountains, volcano's, women that speak French....awesome!

I had never heard of such a place. I just looked it up, seems like a very nice little island with about 800,000 people. Looks beautiful. So are you one if the local Creole's or from somewhere else? How many Harley's are on the island, and XR's?

In Reunion, we don't have a lot of lagoons like in others tropical islands. The sea is a a bit harder and there are some good spots for surfing. the mountains are very high too (lots of pretty spots for downhill biking too, ans a lot of tracks for trekking) but we don't have snow. Reunion is a young volcanic island. Our volcano is an hawaiian style volcano (not explosive), so it offers regularly beautiful shows.


I live here since I was born and I don't know how many Harleys are here, but I know there are 4 XR. Two slows blacks and two fasts oranges. Mine was the first, ordered since october 2007 and delivered on august 2008.

What do you mean ? are you a surfer or is your XR black ?

Used to surf till I moved to the east coast of the US where the waves are lacking. Oh and yea I have a black XR but that didnt play a part in my viewing I like both the orange and black equally

The 4th picture was took at Saint-Leu, which is particularly known by surfers, thanks to it's "leftside" wave.

On Google Earth it looks awesome. I like the road that runs right into what looks like a volcanic crater..... N-5 (?)

Beautiful place to live! Can't figure out which of those pics are best - they are all great even with the slow orange XR in them... :devil:

Don't know where your island is, But I have been to Diago Garcia. Is that the right spelling?
