Hello, my name is Stef and i heard about this forum from another XR biker.
Been riding the XR1200 sinds january 2009.
Site looks good with lots of info.

Stef! Welcome......what color is your XR? Watch out for a crazy young guy over in that part of the world, B-B-B-Benny....but he's on one of the slow black ones...... [:)]...

Thanks for the warm welcome,
my bike has the fabulous fast orange color ;)

I am waiting for Vance & Hines to release the fuelpak for the XR1200 and then i am putting on the widow exhaust.:D

Hi Stef! Welcome to the forum!

You don't have to be afraid...I'm from switzerland...no need for you to be scared of the mean black XR that could pop up in your mirrors :D

Life is to short to be scared Benny ;)

Beside, i have broken my XR already. Oil consumption is off the chart and power is gone !! ( 6 liters in 3000 km!!!)

An 883 is faster than me at this moment :-(

Welcome to the forum, where in the Netherlands are you from, could you be the mysterious XR one of our members, Vecchio Lupo, saw recently while he was in Amsterdam?

Floridacars, i live in Den Helder, i haven't been to Amsterdam for a while so i don't think so.

Scotty, the bike is at the dealership now so i have to wait for their diagnosis. They told me they think its in the computer, at least the power part of the problem, if it keeps using so much oil after the computer is replaced then i want a new one (or at least a new engine).
