Bent what are these mm you talk of?

Just measured mine with a ruler at 2 and 3/4 inches which is 69.9 mm so 70 is good

Just need the exact measure for machinery purpose . 2 3/4"? Or 70mm. ? The showa fork should hang on to metric or what?
Spoiler alert: i may try it myself..drill and tap and etc.etc.
