MadDogXR has organized this for the past years, and was wondering if he will be organizing it again this year? I will be happy to attend, and follow his lead, even if I have to ride to Bakersfield. Just trying to get this event started.
We can’t let the East Coast have more attend their ride than us. The weekend before Memorial Day is when this happens. Request your time off from work now. Start to prep your XR for this now.

Places to stay… I would recommend places on Del Monte,Ave in Monterey but see what works for you..

I'd love to make this ride, but I have prior commitments during the evening on both days. I just did a group ride to Morrow Bay this past weekend though, and have a suggestion for a route to the Starbucks in Monterey.
I left Santa Cruz to meet my group of riders in San Jose and we rode the following route to Monterey: Charter School of Morgan Hill to Starbucks It keeps you off the highway and on twisty roads. I may be able to join / lead a group on this route to the Starbucks in Monterey, but then I'd have to leave and head back to Santa Cruz.

Meet up Saturday Morning at Starbucks Del Monte Mall - Monterey CA.
Depart for Nepenthe, Big Sur. via Hwy 1 - This will take us by Big Sur, Bixby Bridge, Pferir, etc. Perhaps a few stops along the way for photos.
Coffee at Nepenthe.
Ride back for lunch in Carmel Valley.
Ride to the Talbot Motorcycle Museum in Carmel Valley (Fantastic Collection)
A few backroads back to the Hotel and an adult libation or two before dinner on Cannery Row.
Day 2
Head North on Hwy 1 to either Santa Cruz Boardwalk or Alice's if we feel more adventurous.
Lunch and then either back to Monterey or off to home.
I will arrive Friday afternoon if anyone gets there early and wants to start the trip. Corey is checking on Motels and there are a ton of them in the area.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
