Thanks for posting .

As a youngster growing up in the late 60s , Dick Mann was ........ a GIANT in U S racing

I really miss the varied types of racing that they had to compete in to be Grand National Champion .

I met him years after retirement and he seemed like a quiet , unassuming guy .

One of my hero's back when I was just starting to ride.
Had a picture of him coming off the jump at Peoria taped in my school binder.
His first national title, the factories were pissed because he rode a Matchless on the road courses and a BSA on the dirt tracks.
Rest in peace Buggsy.
You and Gary Nixon are banging handlebars again.
