Not sure if this is a good deal, or not, just putting it out there.
Located in the Czech Republic is a used BST carbon fiber rear wheel for, supposedly, an XR1200.
It is currently set up for a chain drive, but a belt sprocket could probably be installed in its place.
It comes with a rear brake rotor installed, but it’s one I’ve never seen before.
The seller is asking $900.00 for it an additional $30.00 (it’s got to more than that…right?) for shipping.

That wheel may have been on an XR1200 but the sprocket bolt pattern and the rotor bolt pattern are nowhere close to stock XR. That seems like a good price for a CF wheel in good shape but it definitely falls into the “buyer beware” category. I.M.O.

Definitely buyer beware, its a lovely thing and that particular wheel may have been on a custom build, there have been plenty of them as we keep seeing, it obviously won't fit a stock bike. Also the seller has very good eBay feedback and appears to specialize in Harley Davidson items which adds weight to the custom theory.

That wheel is a BST 8006 made in November 2005, its specifically for a Benelli Tornado and TNT

I sent my XR Corbin to them to have it reupholstered in all black, (the sides were the slow orange like in the pictures below) and to add an additional key to it. I believe it was $275.00 including shipping. I bet they still have the front locking mechanism, and can get you a key or two to that lock.

I do like how the Corbin is a little higher in the front than my Saddlemen.

Very true Corey but we all had to start somewhere. I always wonder why items like this don't stay with the bike, many possible reasons I suppose and if you have one of the first 100 bikes and are without this then I could see how desirable it might be, having said that I remember the last time one of these was offered for sale nobody in the uk had heard of Scott Parker, in fact not that many people have ever heard of an XR1200 either

I like the item and will have a bid, my bike is not one of the first 100 but if I win it for a reasonable price I will give it to someone who has one without the plate.
