I have only seen that on the Free Spirits (Italy) display bike but not sure if they actually sold the kit

^^^I don't recall ever seeing that^^^ Wicked looking!![]()
Free Spirits and Adrenalin Moto in the UK made it to use on their Buell race bike. They said at the time it was like adding 10+ hp.
They had to use a dry clutch, make a new oil drain for the transmission and plug the passage from the trans to the primary.
If I remember right, there was not much interest at the time.
Matt from Adrenalin said it sounded like the bike had a supercharger.
I think I recognise Sato pegs in the lower shot above, but of course they can't use the Storz/Mr H. type shifter as there's no primary drive cover to attach it to. End result of the combo of the old coat hanger shifter and the jazzy exposed drive belt system looks a bit awkward, in my humble opinion. I like the idea however, even if its execution could be improved.
And as always, discretion should be used before wearing your best flared jeans when riding a bike so equipped...

I like the look of that, very trick. I’ve seen this done on built big twins.
Wouldnt want to ride wearing thongs etc, haha.
Would the horsepower increase come from no oil drag on primary belt and the clutch?
Not quite the same thing, but Babyface does make a pulley cover that's see through.

Yeah I have seen that as well. Looks like I will have to just make my own
Just a heads up on the primary. I have seen belt drives for Sportsters, but they will not fit a XR.
The XR uses a different primary and the parts do not interchange.![]()
It's all Greek to me.........
