    Default Neutral light

Where would you start to run down an erratic/not working neutral light?

It's probably the switch. Located behind the drive gear/sprocket. Gear/sprocket has to come off to replace it. I had to replace mine not long ago. Only 2500 miles on the bike at the time, but the bike is 11 years old.

Agree with Chipmaker, mine failed at 13k, the sprocket nut is an anti-clockwise thread by the way,

lefty - tighty, righty - loosey

Hopefully someone hasn't loctited yours on like they did mine, 120kg jumping on 6ft scaffold bar, didn't think it was going to let go!

A new switch wasn't very dear, about £11 couple of years ago.
Bit annoying though to have to remove the sprocket

Thanks for the videos! I’ll see what the dealer wants then probably do it myself!
