Default FS: (NY) Orange Seat Pan

Hi all, recently installed a solo tail section and already have a spare OEM pan, so I am selling this one. It could use a buff to be perfect but it's in excellent shape, second to last photo captures the light swirls in the paint... waxing will hide them even. Will leave the velcro on it (Saddlemen seats use this for the front) unless the seller requests it be removed.

Will consider meeting nearby the Albany, NY area, and will ship. It is currently packed up and ready to send out... the current box is large with plenty of packing, international shipping may be costly as is but will make the box smaller if need be.

    $300 plus the ride.

I'm not in the market for one of these but watch XR prices, I've seen a few of these and they usually go for less then your asking price, it probably just depends how bad someone needs it.

Thanks for the feedback! Thought this would be a fair price... At any rate, for those that are interested I am open to offers.

If no one here wants it, which surprises me, try eBaying it. An orange tank cover in excellent cond, possibly resprayed, went for $700-800 USD there recently. Some spare body work is a smart investment in my book, provided it's affordable like your part here, considering these bits are either unavailable from HD or absurdly expensive if they are. You only have to deck the bike once to realise that.

Worst case it will be going on eBay... figured Id try to keep it in the family first. I hear you on that one Shackman, I recently went with a solo seat pan and already have an other factory cowl as a backup just because. This one is truly an extra but may consider just holding onto it.

I would trade someone in need for an orange tank cover since I have no spares of those.

Maybe try again after Christmas, or in the spring.
Cash can get a little tight this time of year.
