    Default 2010 Black XR1200 $6500

It is with some regret that I am selling my XR. I had a brain tumor removed several years ago and my balance has not fully returned. The bike is located in the Shreveport LA area. Here is a list of the major changes to the bike:

    1. X forks with racetech gold valves and springs
    2. Brake Tech 320mm ductile iron rotors
    3. Braided front brake lines
    4. Ohlins stock length fully adjustable shocks
    5. Rear seat cowl
    6. 2 Corbin seats (one with 2 inches extra foam)
    7. 2 sets of saddlebags
    8. 3 Tank bags
    9. 1 top case
    10. Vance and Hines air filter (same as K+N)
    11. Mr. H shifter

Many other small modifications, all stock parts are included plus a set of X shocks.

Give me a call at 318-390-2032 or e-mail me at [email protected] if interested.

So sorry to hear about your condition. That is heartbreaking. That is a tasty machine with awesome mods. Well worth the price. I hope someone snags it up!

Is that a Buell front fender?

Yes it is a buell front fender that I trimmed and made an aluminum bracket to adapt it to the forks. At the time I did this no one was making anything I liked. Thanks for noticing.

I’ve been considering the Buell fender for a 17” front wheel fender. Yours looks awesome.

The tank bag in the picture is a large Cortech bag. I have several sizes and they are held on with two loop straps at the front and a single strap with a buckle at the rear. The front tank bolt is longer than stock and there are spacers that the loops go around.

Charles, thank you so very much for being a contributing member from almost the very beginning of our little group!
health wise...I wish you the very best. And thanks for giving me a great deal on those 852 Ohlins, I still have them on, they're doing great, also the tail and tank bag you sold me, they're still in a box in my closet, practically new!

Good luck with all your future endeavors, don't be afraid to check in from time to time
    Best Regards
    Roy

Thank you so much Charlie! It was worth the drive just to hang out and talk with you. It truly was a pleasure!

I feel super lucky to be the new caretaker of this beauty and look forward to many great miles!

I have been lurking these forums for years, just learning and now I finally have an XR that far exceeds my wildest dreams. Charlie you truly are an artist and a craftsman beyond any I've met before. Thank you for the time, and the fine machine!

To the other members, I will come back and hit the intro thread soon, for now I'm still battling truck lag, and trying to catch up to myself after a whirlwind trip to LA. Maybe I'll even get around to a ride this evening. I have a lot to learn, but hope to be able to contribute a little to the community as well.

Thanks again Charlie, and the best to you and I look forward to talking to you again!
