Ride to eat, eat to ride
This thing has me thinking really hard,,,,, but I am thinking more of the new Pan America and despite what everyone says I kinda like that big honking 50's looking screen!

Eh, Honda does make nice stuff. The stripped down version is appealing.
I had a chance to ride the 2019 version. I like the position, the easy revving and just the throw it in nature but I couldn't stomach the price tag. Very few adventure bikes "do it" for me in terms of aesthetics. They all look like Johhny 5 (if you know that 80s movie)
Full Disclosure: I have a 1989 Honda Transalp.
Spoked rims! Where'd ya get those beauts?! Who makes them?

I see the XR1200 Dakar starting to form within the chrysalis of the garage...and I like it!
Well done with the wheels. What diameter and width are those rims and how did you make the spacers?
JUST FIND A SET OF 19" FRONT 40 SPOKE AND 17" REAR 40 SPOKE STREET BOB WHEELS
THE FRONT WHEEL FITS SAME SPACERS FROM THE STOCK WHEELS SETUP, BUT THE CALIPERS ARE REALLY CLOSE TO SPOKES SO MAY HAVE TO SHAVE
OFF SOME OF THE BACK OF THE CALIPERS, I HAVEN'T DECIDED IF I'M GOING TO RUN IT THAT CLOSE OR SHAVE MINE YET.
THE REAR WHEEL NEEDS THAT SPACING IN DIAGRAM, YOU CAN GO ON AMAZON AND FOR 30$ BUY A WHOLE ASSORTMENT OF 25MM AXLE SPACERS ,
THERE IS A FEW IN THE KIT THAT ARE CLOSE BUT YOU'LL NEED SOMEONE WITH A LATHE TO MACHINE THE SPACERS TO THE RIGHT SIZE
ALSO, IF YOU RUN THE STOCK XR1200 PULLEY, THEN YOU'LL NEED TO ORDER A 3/4" PULLEY SPACER BECAUSE THE PULLEY IS THIN, BUT WITH THESE STREET BOB WHEELS
I GOT THE PULLEY TOO, ALONG WITH THE WHEELS, AND ITS THE PERFECT SPACING TO NOT HAVE TO RUN THE PULLEY SPACER. HOPE THAT HELPS
