    Default New Race exhaust

I am calling it the Anaconda! it's the end result of lots of pipe trials and hours of dyno tuning. Full 5hp more than the V&H race cans - and 6lbs lighter. It's gotten some negative feedback on looks - but it's growing on me personally - and sounds pretty bad ass.

At this time I won't post any dyno numbers - as I do not want to supply any ammo to the XR1200 haters within my racing series.

What's the pipe diameter in the Upsweep before the muffler? Curious?👍

Function over form is the race credo.....+5hp and -6lbs darn good for an exhaust.....Plus the intimidation factor of the view from behind looking into that big can.....Lol

XR haters? Do you carry a pocket full of lollipops to hand out to the haters when they start in on ya? Make sure it is the safety pop kind with the looped stick.

3" from collector to can - I did touch it down slightly at full lean.

There are a handful of SV650 guys who don't think the XR should be allowed in SOT3, all the fast guys are on my side (they know how much this things weighs and how hard it is to ride fast) It's the old & slow dudes that are finishing Waay back in the field that seem to have a problem with the XR.

Is it touching down at the rear? I'd like to see it a little more upswept right after the foot peg.

The test of the motorcycle is the satisfaction it gives you. There isn't any other test. If the motorcycle produces tranquility it's right. If it disturbs you it's wrong, until either the motorcycle or your mind is changed.

Interesting that you ended up with 3" on the collector extension.
Can you show a picture of the header section too?

Headers are the V&H stainless pipes - Collector goes from head pipes directly to 3" we tested many versions of collectors and pipe diameters.

Yep, next one will be slightly different - but the power it's putting down "especially on top" is a big improvement over the V&H race cans.

Yea, I hated it at 1st, it's since grown on me! (especially after hearing it on the dyno) It's ceramic coated mild steel - next one will most likely be stainless with a Ti core in the muffler

I'm still trying to get my fab guy to build the next version of this exhaust - all in stainless or Ti. As of right now I'm still running the prototype. Video link is from the 1st race I used it - gives a pretty good idea of what it sounds like on the track!

fyi, this is how the races are supposed to go when I race at my home course https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_65sK1LrHRY&t=236s
