    Default Bull Dog Vince&Hines Mufflers

Have been looking on the Web for someone that has shortened the mufflers on a V/H black widow system but didn't have much luck so been a welder fabricator by trade And build handmade S/Steel one of system for bikes as a side business from home I thought I may as well just do it ... Pictures as attached show that the process is very basic to achieve and once completed looks I my view a lot more uniform , added bonus is the sound these now make very deep and crisp ... Anyways check out the pics and see what you guys think

Wow, need a before and after pic. Plus a pic showing the whole bike so we can get a good perspective of the finished product.

    Well done!

    Nice work!

Be a giggle to also trim the V & H logo to maybe "Van & Hin", hey?

Well, I thought it was funny anyway...

Those look like they should have from the factory, great job....I too would like to see a picture of the whole bike for perspective.

    Nice work...Well Done!!
now if the header pipes can hold out from rusting through, you might have made a decent mod that will last.
No one that I can recall has done this mod to a set of V&H black widows, the stock mufflers yes, but the V&H, not until you did.

being a welder/fabricator, who has made one off pipes for other bikes, I wonder if their would be any interest in you possibly designing a set for the XR...HHmmmm, could be interesting in what you could come up with, something along the lines of the BuB high pipes that were once available for the XR, but aren't anymore.

    Hope this works
100mm has been taken out of the muffler and all mounts on them removed and shifted back to fit back to stock brackets

Tasty, Sensei. Where you from? UK or Australia? "Mates" tend to be from either of those. Just wondering.

Sensei, I have done a lot of welding over the years as an auto body guy but I do not have any experience fabricating exhaust systems but I can certainly tell great work when I see it ! Awesome job, Really great !

Did take to long to remove end cap's and then unscrew the baffle tube so as to cut of the tapped end insert , just bolt it all back together & bolt back onto the bike .... The sound was great from shortening then to start with but it is even more aggressive now ..... Loving it
