Nice, Harry! That bike looks like the love child of Alien and a tiger shark as imagined on an acid trip. Cool! You are definitely not showing your age, my friend

    Conversation with the XR........Part 2

XR: "I told you she was too much for you to handle."
Me: "Yes, you're right. I felt like I was dating a supermodel."
XR: "So, she is out, and it's just you and me?"
    Me: "Well, not exactly.........."
    XR: "What have you done?"
Me: "I met this Japanese model........"
XR: "What? Some kind of geisha fantasy?
Me: "Not exactly, just very willing to do what I want to do...."
    XR: "You're still pathetic........"
    Me : "Yes, I am..............."

It's a 2016 non-current Ninja 1000 ABS (also known as a Z1000SX), and I traded my Spyder + $500 for it. The SDGT is just too big and bulky, and I never felt like it was a good fit. I'll sell it in the Spring. I almost traded it on a 2018 Aprilia Tuono, but the trade in allowance was hopeless. I was concerned with reliability, and even the sales guy said parts take 2 to 3 weeks to get here. It is a remarkable bike, and I would have felt like it was always looking back and saying "Is that all you got?"
So, needless to say, I didn't set out to buy the Ninja, but I didn't want to store the Spyder, and I was fed up trying to sell it.
A little end-of-season wheelin' and dealin' is always entertaining.

    flattrkr,
I'm not sure if we've spoken yet in my time here, but please accept this compliment- You're an inspiration, and I probably couldn't keep up with you even being near 30 years your junior,
    Congrats, Windingroad

Superb paint Harry. Little wonder it's prompting that devilish grin. Another device in your garage with a hp:age ratio of 2:1?
