    Default Another XR1275 is alive

Finished my 1275 project. Went with the Hammer Crush kit that most people here are doing. RedShift 605/591 cams. 30 Degree 10.5-1 reverse dome pistons. Blackhorn intake. TTS tuning. Yada yada. My pipe is a D&D Bobcat. It did alright I think.

Tuner said the humps in the curves is from tire hop. Something about the tall rear suspension.

    I'm good with 107.7

I have the 1275 kit as well did you send in your throttle body for massaging?

The Hammer website has a section on testing with the throttle body and manifolds ported. There were some gains at the top end mostly.

I sent mine in and they worked it over. Good for another five horsepower or so.

If you mean a bigger throttle body the original conclusion from Hammer was the gains are expensive, and a stock ported throttle body and manifold deliver much better value for money.
