One place here in America planning to sell American Harley-Davidson parts didn't answer their phone for 2 weeks so I sort of thought it might be time to give up when's another place came right now where I got these but they were $100 off and free shipping so I hit the send it button.... They probably quit manufacturing these about 10 years ago when the millennials ran off the XR 1200s out of the showrooms claiming that the x r1200 were junk and other replies from my age group as a baby bear 71 years old my crowd said that if they don't get those God damn Japanese looking pieces of s*** out of my showroom I'm not going to buy another road king so that's why they quit making the XR 1200 and the same millennial Harley haters is the reason why Eric bill has had his problems trying to sell them they started inside of Harley-Davidson as one's new CEO claimed do we really need Eric and his racing hobby.. and the CEO to Harley-Davidson executives who rides sport bikes anyway.... It's not the product sports fans it's brain dead individuals allowed into the executive branches of about everything we do this never done anything we do so they cut back everything and then wonder why they can't sell s***.... After putting that cheapo fairing on the front to disguise it coming at you I get plenty of waves from rice rocket riders until they get up close enough to see what the engine looks like at that time I give my throttle blast and they are staring straight forward like they never saw anything... I'll be waving at the hog riders and they just stare forward like I'm invisible until they get up close and I give him the braaaap Sportster rip
and they go oh yeah and they wave and waving waving away..... I don't really do this for fun I'm not an intimidator meant with intimidation hehehehe ..... I'll be able to tap the The Purge button and blow them a cloud of NOS .....AND then at any time tap the horn button and throw an extra 20 horsepower on the rear tire over what it's got now it should put me about at a hundred at the rear tire to start off with.... I'm running drying off that is no fuel at all just straight NOS that when it hits your temperature sensors in your intake is supposed to turn on your full start in richner that will cause injectors to do overtime and compensate for the lean mixture that the nose will cause but is supposed to be countered by your O2 sensors level keep throwing extra Rich fuel until they read the normal air fuel mixture which is set at 14 to 1 today and... You probably haven't figured it out yet but I've never put an also on anything I don't know anything about it and this is all an experiment on a Harley-Davidson that should be hung on the wall as there just about gone when they're gone they're gone there is no more and these are collectors as I just found out after I got back from Pennsylvania on it west of Indianapolis opened up the web and we're riding what is considered to be rare collector item Harleys as average price is worth $11,000 usd .....I was told by some aftermarketer who specialize in drying NOS your ecu is supposed to handle up to 40 horsepower dry NOS just by feeling the sensors with a quick cold blast is this stuff does get cold when it boils out of the line to some 200 plus degrees below zero without looking at the exact specs I mean you know after 50 below it doesn't matter anymore it's going to run all the fuel in there it can is what it's supposed to do.... And there's a jetting chart for the NOS and I've got a 0.026 inch diameter pill in it now which is supposed to only be good for 20 horsepower boost so I guess we'll finally see you soon .... And I'm on a first name basis with my local Harley shop who's got a Dyno and I get along just fine my tuner as our ideas of tuning are the same and we'll see if we can get him to tap that button when he's got it screaming again on the dyno.. as I'm also got a air fuel mixture gauge and head temperature gauge for both front and rear heads plus there's an oil temperature gauge on a dipstick as you might want to get one for yours as they're genuine Harley-Davidson ones for sale on the internet for $65 and you'll notice as I've noticed that the oil temperature remains the same constantly in cold weather of 30 degrees Fahrenheit and colder up to 100° Fahrenheit in the summer the oil on my XR 1200 remains at 200° Fahrenheit all the time which is exactly perfect all the time as I was afraid I might have to cover up that oil cooler in cold weather now you don't touch it... I bought a factory service manual that covers both the XRS and the excels and they differences night and day just about all major parts are way different like the cases on my xr1200 has a built-in mechanical thermostat that controls the oil from the oil cooler and forces it to remain at 200° f at all times.... That's why I'm recommending all of us and all of reading this get the $65 Harley Davidson oil cap it's got a dipstick on it like a meat thermometer and tell us exactly what your oil temperature is and you don't need to monitor it like a stopwatch check what it says when you take off driving a few blocks easy cuz it's cold and it takes a moment for that oil to get up to operating temperature when it hits 200 degrees that's it you can throttle the piss out of it and it won't get any hotter well maybe 10 degrees but that's Max in hot weather the max I've ever seen was about almost 220 and that was after I just ripped it through the years about 10 times on the interstate and bypasses that I got my little course go on that's the interstate bypass here in my local little town and You can see for Miles in both directions and I need to get a fuzz buster before I go to jail again as I've developed a dislike from the police but the feeling is mutual as I know I did get a break from one of the Marshalls I was off duty at the time but I have learned the hard way not to push their buttons and just let him go ahead and rip your ass as they have to do to make themselves feel superiority over you....what's funny everywhere I go I get questions like is this the new Sportster that hardly come out with and I tell him now it was new and 2009 but the millennials ran out of the showroom and they quit building and 2012... That's right listen to him of 5 minutes of how great looking it is and wow they need to make these all the time they should have done this a long time ago and I get my chance and tell him they did but nobody liked them.... Funny stuff I was at the local watering hole called the cabin when the local motorcycle club pulled up with all their choppers and wearing their cutoffs I'm standing inside looking out the window watching them they're all games around my sporty pointing to this and that this one taller dude telling all the prospects all about my bike so then I step out smoke cigarette they ask me is that your? Sure! It's a 20 22 right ? Hell no it's 13 years old ....(causing their road captain to lose all his create a building in one second) hehehe.... Next time I seen the bastard he says got that NOS hooked up yet ? Yea I didn't think so he says.. so that day is coming very anxiously for me cuz he's the first one I'm going to go looking for with his big bad ass big bore Evo chopper.... As I'll probably tell him I heard your piece of s*** was hot I bet she can't outrun my girls bike.... As I have the NOS Purge nozzles angles so they'll blast a person right in the face as you can see in the pictures those two red caps on the end of the per solenoid that's the one in front that wise up into two nozzles that are pointed out 45 hanging forward about a 45 and then up 45.... That's when I pull up on their left side hit the button s*** hit him right nose .
