On Sunday, Cindy and I rented a 2013 Electra Glide Ultra Unlimited (FLHTK) for the day. We took Hwy 94 (smugglers run) out to jacumba and out to the Desert Tower. It was a fine machine. It had 300 miles on it when I picked her up. We put on about 200 more.

Then on Saturday, I was up to my usual antics.....saw these guys at the Hideout. No, get off the juice, you are not seeing double. Cool cars and cool dudes! The one in the back is a 514 CI Ford, injected claimed 750 HP. Check his license plate, he is not a chiropractor.

We have been experiencing unseasonably warm weather in San Diego the past week and this past weekend I spent the whole day in the back country. When I got home, Cindy put her foot down and made me take her with me on Sunday. So we got the FLHTK for Sunday. Good times! :nana:

Tom, I figured you might like those 2 Ford-powered Cobras. Besides the 514, the other was a 427 with a huge 4-barrel carb:

Ha! Yes it is a hydraulic pump ran by a motor. In this case a 90VDC squirrel cage. Nothing was wrong with the motor, pump needed rebuilding. So who gets the job? An electrician....the mechanics all ways screw them up. :)

Must be the 20# hammers the mechanics use.

Mechanic1; Booge, pump do not spin.
Mechanic 2; Hit it with hammer, see if it spin.
