You're a very lucky man to have a wife that rides. Thanks for posting.

OK, not a hot BABE, but still a Harley scooter, and a quality blues man on board.

There are so many hot ones, babes and scoots on the web, but this one keeps calling me back to her page. I already have a blue bike, so all I need is the girl in the sun dress. Like that's ever gonna happen. tp

This is a GTS with a 300 cc engine, but as can be seen, this man travels on it. Out of Germany, and and travels throughout Europe, including the northern reaches of Norway...

This is that good 'turtle' karma coming back at you Virginian.

I missed you pushing off on this trip but just read through this thread and want to register my utmost respect. Big adventure with minimal gear and lots of logistical challenges. Damn worthy and I'm glad you and Bella made it safe! Bravo..

Different strokes, ya know. You did what you did with the time you had. It was rewarding for you, and fun to follow, for us. If you decide to go on another adventure, post it or at least a link to a new thread here. tomp

I took a nice two day short trip this weekend on Bella. I've been going to a PT massage therapist for my sciatica in Front Royal and I'm happy to report I'm have good success on this front. The weather was looking bad per usual. I think the only weather this Vespa has seen has been rain. lol So I motored out of Lake Anna and cut up to Culpeper, took a right on 15 to Remington, 621, 15, then right on Ben Venue. BV is a short run but amazing technical piece of tarmac. Then 522 to Front Royal.

Here's a view of my route.

The weather as I was leaving. I had stuffed in my Kriega 6 good sized ribeye's packed with two freezer packs that I had been marinating in Lee & Perrins and a bourbon/brown sugar rub! I also had my dock kit, rain suit, two changes of clothes, laptop, chargers, tinted shield, a doggy life preserver I bought my niece for their pup and a copy of Labyrinth to watch with the kids. Love that movie! My pack was over G'd!

And the weather when I got to PT... As usual I'm a dripping mess walking into the joint.

After PT I motored up to Luray. A beautiful town right on the Blue Ridge mountains and worth visiting on two wheels. The stormy weather made for some spectacular smokey mountain views.

Right at dusk it was amazing! Sadly I don't have a decent camera to capture the beauty.

After supper we broke out some small fireworks for the kids and had a few beers around the bonfire.

The next morning my nephew-in-law took the 946 for a spin. He loved it!

We decided to go to a local brewery and here's a few pics of Luray.

Hawksbill Brewery, all of their brews are from local crops in the area and they are brewed on the premises.

    Pimp!

    One of the twins.

While we were there a freight train rolled through and blew the horn. Good night it woke the dead!

    My neice.

Some random pics my niece took.

    Nice shot of my flab...

Time to head home so I cut across the Shenandoah National Forest. Beautiful piece of road to enjoy the scoot on and wasn't raining!

Shit house lilies are popping up everywhere.

Until next trip, thanks for reading.
