Howdy all. Joined up in June, been kind of lurking in the shadows since. Have 09 in the fastest color. Has some aftermarket stuff on it when I got it, still making it "mine". Been riding longer than I care to admit, but this is my first HD. Had plenty of other stuff over the years. Buells, Aprilias, Hondas, etc. but almost always sport oriented. Anyhow, thanks for having me!
Bob
Thanks for the warm welcome.
imoo6170: No idea of brand, just went out and looked and there are no marking
rich.hohmann: I live in the Lake Geneva area, that pic was taken at the west end of the lake in Fontana
Sadwingsragn: Can you aim me in a direction? Previous owner username here so I can do a bit of research? I think it is well sorted also, the first xr I rode a year before I honestly didn't care for. This one spoke to me.
A bit late tonight to go looking and I will need to use my computer, not this phone, but I will see if I can track down the screen name of the previous owned. That fairing is, as far as I know, a one of a kind.
Though it may be that the guy I am thinking about did something to push the headlight out more so he could be seen better from the sides but maybe that was something he was looking at doing. Been a while,,, [emoji41]
Welcome from Melbourne, Australia. I'm also really liking that fairing. Plus your FMF slip ons. Don't worry about the color jibes, the black (and white) guys are just trying to justify their wrong choice in the first place. Enjoy the forum. Cheers,
The color matched fairing came from Chic Designs in Japan

Yup! That's it! Thanks! Was looking to see if he stated where the stripe decal came from. I picked up a rear seat cowl and was going to stripe it up too.
At a guess I would say each square is 1" on that piece seeing as to how there are 12 going one way on the 12 X 20something piece. How big are the squares on the decal you already have?
Current decal is 2" with 3 squares wide, but with a silver piping on the sides. I've been playing wit hthe idea of peeling it all off and going with a different theme
Welcome aboard from another ex Bueller. Nice XR.++:clap:<script>window.post_1488034364254_2 = function(win,msg){ win.postMessage(msg,"*");}</script><script>window.post_1488034367624_10 = function(win,msg){ win.postMessage(msg,"*");}</script>
Welcome to the forum! I like that the previous owner has been identified on the thread. Every time a new forum member joins, I always wonder if it is first time that bike has been to the forum or if it is a past member. Nice for the new owner too I expect.
